🚀 DEMOCRAFT V6: Multilingual, Dynamic Servers, and Renewal!

After 9 months of intensive preparation, sleepless nights, and development, DEMOCRAFT is finally taking a new step. V6 is officially available in Public Beta!

Since our last major update on October 4th, the server has undergone major transformations, both in what you see in-game and technically behind the scenes. Let’s take a detailed look at what this V6 has in store for you.

🌐 Opening up to the world: Multilingual Support

This is the biggest part of this update. DEMOCRAFT is no longer strictly French-speaking! You can now change your language across our entire ecosystem.

In-game: Simply use the /lang command to adapt menus and messages to your language.
On the web: Our websites democraft.fun and democraft.world are now multilingual.

Which game modes are translated?

For the launch of this Beta, we focused our efforts on our most popular modes:

🛏️ Bedwars
☁️ Skywars
⚔️ FFA / KitPVP
🔫 Quake

Note regarding Zombies and Sheepwars: These modes are still in active development, so translations have not yet been applied. We decided to let you test them anyway. Feel free to give us your feedback if they work well for you!

Are you fluent in another language? You can help us! We have set up a dedicated platform: https://trad.democraft.fun. (Note: logging in via your democraft.fun account doesn’t work on this subdomain yet; you will need to create a specific account. By the way, if there is a Weblate expert in the chat, I’m open to advice!)

👑 Visual Identity and Ranks Overhaul

To make the chat and tab list more readable, we have overhauled the display system for paid ranks and staff. No more long, bulky texts; welcome to sleek, unique icons that no longer contain text.

Here is the new rank hierarchy you will come across in-game:

In addition, paid ranks have received new names and new tiers to better reflect your support for the server: Amethyst , Diamond Diamond , Gold Gold , Iron Iron , and Copper Copper .

⚙️ Other Features & Improvements

Because we aren’t done yet! A few other very exciting modifications are also on the agenda:

100% Custom Emojis: We said goodbye to free public packs. DEMOCRAFT now has its very own custom in-game emojis to react with style!
Voicechat Integration: For even more immersion and fun in your games, proximity voice chat is now supported.
New Statistics: A brand-new stat tracking system has been integrated directly into the main website. Track your progress in real-time!
⚡ Dynamic Servers: This is a huge technical step forward for the project. Want to play a game mode but its server is offline? No problem. By interacting with the corresponding NPCs in the lobby, the server will start up automatically on demand. This allows us to smoothly offer all our game modes while optimizing our resources!

⚠️ Quick Note on the Bedrock Version

For our players on the Bedrock edition, please note that the texture pack is half-converted for this V6. Currently, 3D objects are not displaying correctly. I am working hard to fix this issue as soon as possible!

🤔 What’s Next?

I still have plenty of ideas in mind! Between homemade cosmetics, a demophone makeover, and brand-new game modes, I’m nowhere near getting bored!

Please keep in mind that this update was imagined, coded, drawn, implemented, and fixed by me, all alone! Maintaining DEMOCRAFT solo is a massive undertaking, and the next update could take just as long, if not longer, to arrive. So please be patient!
